How long will it take me to build a Kabook!?

Turning your pics into epic adventures is meant to be fun, not another task in your busy life. So we've created every Kabook! to take anywhere between 5 to 45 minutes of dedicated activity time. Different Kabook! titles are intended for different ages of children, which we carefully considered as part of the overall effort to create your story. It’s that simple, so are you ready to get started?


Can I read my Kabook! before purchasing?

Yes! You can read all Kabook! titles on the site before placing an order. And of course, you’ll be able to read your Kabook! as you build it.


What kind of book is a Kabook!? Is it soft cover or hard cover?

Both softcover and hardcover books are available for purchase.

Soft cover: Perfect Bound; premium color on 70# paper.
Hard cover: Case laminate without jacket; premium color on 70# paper.


Where do I input my promotional code?

Build your Kabook! and proceed to checkout as usual. During checkout, enter your promotional code in the box labeled “Promo Code.” Valid codes will be applied and discounted from your total charges.


Can I change or cancel my order?

Once an order is submitted, the Kabook! fairies go straight to work building your book. However we'll do our very best to cancel your order if it hasn't already been printed. Contact us ASAP at: help@mykabook.com.


How long will it take to get my Kabook!?

It typically takes 3-5 business days for your Kabook! to ship from our print facility. Kabook! offers three convenient shipping methods which can vary in delivery time between one day and five days from the date of shipment.


Which countries do you ship to?

Currently, Kabook! ships to the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii).


Can I return my Kabook!?

We offer a Total Glee Guarantee to ensure you are satisfied with your personalized book or gift. Once you receive your order, open it and ensure each item is to your satisfaction. For prompt resolution, please email Customer Care at help@mykabook.com within 30 days of receipt to assist with a refund or replacement--all you will have to do is send us your book.


My Kabook! has been damaged upon arrival. What do I do?

While we make every effort to ensure your Kabook! arrives in perfect condition, sometimes things happen. Hold on to the packaging, take pictures of the damage if possible and contact us. We will assist with shipping out a reprint ASAP.


What do you do with my information and photos?

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Your photos are securely stored in Kabook’s Cloudinary.com account. Requests to delete your photos from this account can be submitted to compliance@mykabook.com. We will never share or sell your information to any third parties. Please view our Privacy Policy here .


Can I buy a Kabook! as a gift?

Yes, we believe Kabook! makes the most wonderful, thoughtful gift. We are working on creating gift cards, but in the meantime, please feel free to get the information and photos for your giftee and make them something amazing!


Why do you charge my credit card before my Kabook! has been produced?

Because everything we make is custom and produced on-demand, we must bill you in advance before beginning work. Don’t worry, we offer a Total Glee Guarantee.


Why was I charged tax?

In accordance with state tax laws, we are required to charge tax if we have sufficient physical or economic presence in the state where your order is being shipped. This is known as "Nexus.” Where applicable, tax can be applied to a product or shipping charge. Nexus is the determining factor of whether an out-of-state business selling products into a state is liable for collecting sales or use tax on sales into the state. If you were charged sales tax on your order, it is because we have Nexus in your state.
